  • Morning: Visit for clear views over the city from nearby terraces.
  • Midday: Combine with shopping or lunch in the Louise/Louiza district.
  • Evening: Return to see the skyline and palace lit up after dark.

Before you go

  • Check if any public access to the interior is available and if security screening applies.
  • Use the public lift between lower and upper streets if you prefer to avoid steep climbs.
  • Bring a camera – the combination of building and cityscape is very photogenic.
